Board of Education

BOE Meeting

Our Board meetings are usually the third Monday of the Month (except for holidays) at

6:00 pm at the district office. Meeting dates are also posted in The Brown County Press.

Next meeting will be Monday, May 20, at 6:00 pm, WB Administration Builiding

The WBLSD Board of Education welcomes public participation. If you wish to address the Board of Education, please contact the Superintendent, Mr. Raegan White, to discuss your topic

(937-444-2044) and be put on the agenda.

Once you have been placed on the agenda, you will need to sign in on the Public Participation Form when you arrive at the meeting. In order for the Board to fulfill its obligation to complete a full agenda effectively, a maximum of 30 minutes total may be allotted for public participation.

Each individual /spokesperson for a group may be allotted a maximum of 3 minutes total.

Jennifer Patrick, President & Legislative Liaison

Jennifer Patrick is a proud graduate of Western Brown's Class of 2003. After receiving a Bachelors in Business Administration from Wilmington College in 2007 and a Masters in Non-profit Management from NKU in 2013, she made it her goal to find a career where she could serve the Brown County community. Jennifer is currently employed as HealthSource of Ohio's Community Relations Director and serves on the Brown County Chamber of Commerce-Board of Trustees. She believes that there is a strong correlation between health, academic achievement, community engagement, and local economic growth. She hopes that her time as a BOE member not only betters the students of Western Brown, but contributes to the growth and overall strength of Brown County. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys being with friends and family, attending sporting events, getting outdoors and remaining active, and giving back to our community as much as possible.

Brian Rhodes, Vice President
Brian Rhodes has served on the board for a number of years. Brian and his wife Sandy live in Mt. Orab and raised three kids who graduated from WB. Brian is a retired State Highway Patrolman and enjoys watching the Broncos play and compete with other schools.

Heather Boshears, Board Member

Heather Boshears is in her first term as a member of the Western Brown Board of Education. She is the office manager at Brown County Rural Water Association. Heather has been an avid supporter and volunteer of Western Brown, graduatingfrom WB in 1997 and raising three children who were active in extra-curricular activities. She is very excited to be on the board.

Peggy McKinney, Board Member

Peggy is in her first term as a member of the Western Brown Board of Education but is definitely not new to the district. She served the Western Brown District as a teacher, principal and superintendent before her retirement. Peggy and her husband Steve are both graduates of Hamersville High School. Their two children and five grandchildren are all graduates of Western Brown High School. Peggy is committed to the educational success and opportunities, as well as lifelong learning experiences for all the students of the Western Brown School District.

Matty Corcoran, Board Member

Matty and his wife, Lexi are both graduates of Western Brown and their daughter is also a proud bronco. Matty has an Associates in Electro-Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelors in accounting. Matty is currently pursuing a MBA in Organizational Management. Matty is very active in our community, coaching youth softball and is the current President of the Youth Softball Organization in Mt. Orab. He and his family enjoy cheering on the home team at many sporting events.
