WB 2020- 2021 Reopening Plan

The WB Board of Education has approved the 2020 - 2021 Reopening Plan.
This plan addresses state guidelines and expectations along with suggestions from other resources from the CDC, American Association of Pediatrics, and the Brown County Board of Health.
We will be asking parents to register their child for their learning option for the upcoming school year. You will find the School Option survey within Final Forms when you update your child's emergency medical forms and other annual sign offs.  Please fill out the survey once you've  reviewed the plan and understand the three options.  We appreciate your patience during this challenging time!

Please make note of Transportation changes on page 8 of plan.
Students will have one pick up and one drop-off address per nine weeks.

Short Summaries of WB's 3 Learning Options
Option 1 takes up most of the plan due to all the different areas in our buildings.  This is where the student comes back to school and is in classrooms learning.  It is strongly recommended for students to wear masks but it is not mandated.  WB will be providing washable WB masks for all students and employees.
Option 2 is our Blended Option which is when students are at home on a online program but with a WB teacher helping them through the program, assigning lessons, and giving instruction.  This option is only for K-4 students and is a one year committment just like a normal classroom at school.
Option 3 is our Virtual Option which we've had for many years.  This is a stand alone individualized program that students go through without a teacher.  We do require so manty lessons be completed each week.  There is a WB Virtual Coordinator that will assist the student's family in registering for the classes needed for their grade level or earn credits for graduation.  The family can choose at the end of each nine weeks whether to continue on this program or return to school.

Educational Choices are now closed for the 2020 -2021 school year.
Option 3 students will be able to return to school at the end of the nine weeks with a two week notice.
An email will be sent to Option 3 parents with a reminder.
