In Third Grade we have been reviewing how read an identify quarter notes, eighth notes, and rests. We've also been reviewing that rhythm in a song is how the words are supposed to do, and we use notation to write that out. This activity requires the students to be able to perform the rhythm of the words, as well as audiate (hear without sound) the rests, which is the part that is not being sung. This is Mrs. Boyle's class demonstrating.
Also, thank you to Mrs. Wright for being a wonderful videographer for me!
