ROBERT F. WALLACE 1945-1999
INDUCTED -1999
MR. WALLACE (BOB), THE BRONCOS #1 FAN, HAS BEEN ATTENDING GAMES AT MT. ORAB AND WESTERN BROWN HIGH SCHOOL SINCE 1945.
HE REMEMBERS HELPING OUT IN THE EARLY DAYS IN BASKETBALL AS A MANAGER, SCOREKEEPER OR WHATEVER NEEDED TO BE DONE. HE HAS MISSED VERY FEW GAMES IN ANY SPORT IN THE FIFTY PLUS YEARS HE HAS ATTENDED, EXCEPT FOR THE TIME HE SPENT IN THE ARMY(1953-56).
BOB COACHED KNOTHOLE BASEBALL FOR MANY YEARS AND WAS PRESIDENT OF DISTRICT 26 KNOTHOLE BASEBALL FOR SEVERAL YEARS. HE WORKED ON THE COMMITTEE TO MERGE MT. ORAB AND HAMERSVILLE INTO THE WESTERN BROWN SCHOOL DISTRICT. HE WAS ALSO ACTIVE IN GETTING THE ATHLETICS MOVED TO THE OLD CLERMONT COUNTY LEAGUE WHICH IS NOW THE SOUTHERN BUCKEYE CONFERENCE.
MR. WALLACE HAS BEEN A FRIEND AND SUPPORTER OF THE ATHLETIC COACHES THROUGH ALL THESE YEARS AND IS WELL KNOWN THROUGHOUT BROWN COUNTY AS THE "BRONCOS"
