Our 1st inductee is Mrs. Lynn Abbinante-Frazier:

Lynn is a 2007 graduate of Western Brown HS.  Lynn was a multi-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball and softball.  Lynn was a 3 year letterman in volleyball and earned SBC 1st Team honors in 2006 and 2007.  She was selected to the Cincinnati Enquirer All City 1st Team in 2006.  Lynn lettered 4 years in basketball, earning SBC 2nd Team in 2005 and SBC 1st Team honors in 2006 and 2007.  During her softball career, Lynn was a 3 year letterman.  She was selected as a 2nd Team SBC All Star in 2005 and 2007 and to the SBC 1st Team in 2006.  Lynn was also selected to the Cincinnati Enquirer All City 1st Team in 2006.  Lynn was a member of 4 SBC league titles in volleyball, basketball and softball during her career.
     Mrs. Abbinante-Frazier went on to play volleyball at UC Clermont in 2007 and 2008 and was selected to the ORCC 1st team in 2008.  She was also selected to the USCAA All-Academic Team in 2008.  During her 2 years at UC Clermont, they were ORCC Champions!
     Lynn is currently working at Christ Hospital and is attending UC to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management.  Lynn is married to husband Aaron Frazier and they have 3 children, Noah, Nate and Sydney.

Our next inductee is Mr. JT Olson:

JT is a 2008 graduate of Western Brown HS.  JT was a standout cross country and track runner at Western Brown, earning 7 letters.  JT was a 2nd team SBC All Star in 2004 and 2005 in Cross Country and earned SBC 1st Team honors in 2006 and 2007.  JT was the SBC American Division Runner of the Year in 2007 and helped lead his team to an SBC American Division title.  JT was also captain in 2006 and 2007.
     Mr. Olson excelled in track as well.  JT has school records in the 4X800, 1600 and the 3200.  JT was the SBC American Division Runner of the Year in 2008 and was a member of the 2008 SBC Champions.  He also was the league champion in the 800, 1600, 3200 and the 4X800 team during his senior year.  That same year JT qualified for the OHSAA Division I Regional tournament.  JT was also a member of the wrestling team all 4 years.  Mr. Olson moved on to the University of Akron, where he participated in track from 2009-2013 and cross country from 2008-2012.  JT finished 2nd in the 2010 Indoor MAC Championships in the Distance Relay Medley and was also selected to the Academic All-Conference Team.  Mr. Olson is currently teaching chemistry and coaching track and cross country at Medina HS.  JT’s parents, Cory and Ellen Olson,  are both teachers in the Western Brown school district.

Our next inductee is Mrs. Leigh Smith-Logan:

Leigh is a 2004 graduate of Western Brown HS.  Leigh was a 3 sport standout for the Broncos!  Leigh lettered 3 years in volleyball and was SBC 1st team in 2002 and 2003.  Leigh was selected to the Cincinnati Enquirer Honorable Mention All-City team and the Southwest District 2nd Team in 2002 and 2003 and was a member of the 2002 SBC American Division Volleyball Champions.  Leigh was the MVP in volleyball in 2002 and 2003.  Leigh was a 2 year letterman in basketball and was a member of the 2004 SBC American Division Champions.  During her softball career, Leigh was SBC 2nd Team in 2002 and SBC 1st Team in 2003 and a member of the 2003 SBC American Division Champions.  Leigh was selected as the 2004 Western Brown HS Female Athlete of the Year and was also a recipient of the coveted Triple Crown Award.
     Leigh went on to attend the University of Cincinnati and became a member of the UC Bearcat Rowing Team, earning a full scholarship and winning the “Rookie of the Year” Award in 2006.
     Leigh is currently an avid runner and has competed in several marathons.  She is employed as a Regional Technology Specialist for MacMillan New Ventures and resides in Texas with her husband Jesse Logan.

Our last inductee is Mr. JJ Ellis:

Mr. Ellis is a 2008 graduate of Western Brown HS.  JJ was the 2008 Western Brown HS Male Athlete of the Year.  JJ was selected SBC 1st Team in football in 2006 and 2007 and was also selected to the Cincinnati Enquirer All-City Honorable Mention team in 2006 and 2007.  Mr. Ellis’s efforts earned him All Southwest District Honorable Mention honors in both 2006 and 2007 as well.  JJ earned a spot in the Varsity Gold Club in 2007 with 1,037 all-purpose yards.
     JJ was just as impressive on the mats.  He was an SBC 1st Team wrestling All Star and SBC champion in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and was the SBC wrestler of the year in 2008.  JJ had 119 career wrestling wins in his 4 year career and earned another spot in the Varsity Gold Club.  JJ was also selected to the Cincinnati Enquirer Honorable Mention team in 2007.
     JJ continued his outstanding career in baseball where he was selected to the SBC American Division 1st Team in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and was the SBC Player of the Year in 2008.  He was also selected to the Cincinnati Enquirer Division I Honorable Mention team in 2008.
     JJ obtained his Associate’s Degree from UC Clermont in 2012.  He married his high school sweetheart, Ashley Huber Ellis and they have one daughter, Jayde.  JJ would like to thank his parents Marla and John, his brother David and wife Ashley for all of their support!
